This exceptional cross is made of bronze. It measures 5 and 10/16 inches high. It is byzantine circa 7th - 10th cent AD. It has six rounded, banded agate stones. Between those stones t are five incised rounded circles. The lower part is extended further down with two small drilled holes. Probably used for procession. Of outstanding qualities. The estimated value of this cross: $2,500 - $4,000. Offered for $1,400.
