Up for auction is this AWESOME C C HARRISON DAGUERREOTYPE RADIAL DRIVE LENS & FLANGE c1840-1850. It has about a 7" focal length at infinity. The glass has a few light cleaning marks but no deep scratchs. Radial drive focus is smooth and works well. This HAS NOT BEEN SLOTTED for wet plate use so it must have been only used for Daguerreotypes. The original patina covers the brass. The barrel is marked 9680 C. C. Harrison New York. I think this is for 6th plates but might also be for 4th plates. This would be great to be on display or to go on a camera for display or would even be a great user. Guaranteed old and original. Item is sold as is.
