C&O RAILROAD HOMESTEAD HOTEL Plate VA HOT SPRINGS CHINA Up for auction is a great little vintage bread & butter plate from the Homestead Hotel in HOT SPRINGS, VIRGINIA. The Homestead was owned & operated by the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad & many travelers on the C&O Railway would stay at this grand hotel & dine in their fine dining rooms. Ref. C&O-6 Pg. 126 Luckins Dining on Rails Great condition with no Chips or Cracks. Shows some utensil marks from use - shiny glaze. Measures 6 3/8" in diameter. Bottom Marked Mayer China Co. Beaver Falls, PA & date coded 366 (1966)This auction is for the bread plate only - last picture shows other pcs that are listed separately this week including individual creamer, demitasse cup/saucer set & oval baker/bowl.
