This is an old English Staffordshire Chinoiserie cup and saucer. The pattern itself is a version of the Willow pattern. The transfer is purpose and the hand painting is yellow, blue, red and green. It is quite unusual and very attractive. The deep saucer is 5 & 1/2" across and the cup is 2 & 1/8" tall and has a pedestal base. Both pieces are unmarked. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs.
