c1875 Davenport England Staffordshire Swan Neck Gold Scroll & Shell Teapot Outstanding 19th century estate teapot made by Davenport, Longport, Staffordshire, England. Signed as shown, the mark is c1875. Molded pot with striking swan's neck spot, split scroll handle and lid finial, and scalloped top and bottom edges. Hand decorated all in gold with shell forms, scrolls and acanthus leaf with no loss. Measures 10" wide across handle and spout. 5-3/4" high at handle.
