Tunbridge Ware Stationery Box Eridge Castle This is a super item with great potential. It is a C19th Tunbridge ware stationery box. It features stunning burr walnut (I believe) veneers and the domed top is decorated with boxwood with an inlaid micromosaic scene of Eridge Castle, Kent. Condition: Missing its key Some loss of the original lining Loss of the original internal dividers Small loss of veneer banding in four places Generally in need of a good clean, many of the marks rub off. The veneer needs a proper French polish is shows surface scratches most of which would polish out. Once these two are done it would make a lovely affordable addition to a collection. I cannot take responsibility for items lost or damaged in the post when you have declined any kind of tracking or insurance when offered. I am happy to combine postage; I will charge the actual cost of postage, nothing extra. I use a mixture of new and recycled packaging but charge only the postage cost plus PayPals additional 20p per lot. I do not charge for packaging. I keep photos and proof of postage for every item. International Postage I am happy to post items to Europe, Australia, China, Japan, New Zealand Canada and USA. I cannot however accept returns from overseas buyers due to the cost. Payment for international sales by PayPal only . Returns I describe all my items honestly and to the best of my abilities. I do however accept that I cannot be an expert on all the collectables that I sell and sometimes you as a buyer may pick something up that I missed. I therefore gladly accept returns on all items if you feel that they are not as described. I will give a full refund including the original postage and your return postage, on receipt of the returned item. All items returned must be in the same condition as they were sent out in and must be received within ten days of the end of the auction.
