This buckle is hallmarked with the unmistakeable medicine man's dipper. This indicates it was either made by Willie Yazzie Sr or Jr who both used the same stamp. Based upon the style, patina and construction I am certain this is a WY Sr piece. Dimensions are 3 inches by 2 inches and it weighs a hefty 42.8 grams. It is overlay technique, borrowed from the Hopi. Gorgeous patina and in top condition. 1 1/2 inch belt acceptance.
