This is a real photo postcard, printed on AZO paper. T is no caption. In the lower right corner it says Nichols Photo No. 12. On the back is printed Walter J. Nichols, Coalinga, California. It shows the depot, and a downtown street, w I can see the Mission Bar. T are other store signs that could probably be read with a better magnifier than mine. It shows the train at the depot, and people milling about. T are a couple of early automobiles in the view, as well as a horse & buggy outfit. This is an exceptionally nice view of the early railroad days in California. The card is in good condition, with light corner and edge wear, and some foxing/soiling on the back. T is a pinhole in the top of the card, near the center. The card is postally unused. Unless you have purchased only one card, please wait until I invoice you before you pay. If you qualify for combined shipping, and don't wait for the invoice, the system will not combine shipping due to a quirk in the program. I invoice every morning, for sales made the previous day. I invoice every Sunday evening for all cards remaining unpaid for at the end of that week. If you have made previous arrangements with me for billing, you may disregard any Sunday night invoice you receive. Otherwise, payment is appreciated as soon as possible. Postage is $2.50 first class mail in the US. read more
