Our reserve is the opening bid. We have a great Portland photo of a Stable and other businesses listedwill be listing, circa 1900. This is a nice antique Cabinet Photo! A handsome, moustached young man poses in his Conductor's uniform. His hat identifies him as a Conductor. We believe he is a Street Car conductor, but he could be a Train Conductor. The photo is by Joseph E. Watson who is listed as having a studio at 112 1/2 First Street in Portland from 1890 to 1892. This helps pinpoint when this photo was taken. The photo is a brownish color and has good contrast. It is a little light. It is in very good condition and the card is 4 1/4 by 6 1/2 inches. If you turn the photo to catch glare, you see a very, very tiny amount of wear on the surface near the bottom. The back is printed with a lovely design but it is sans Watson's name. What a nice photo of an early Portland Conductor! Please email questions. We combine purchases to save you money, but you MUST wait for our invoice in order to receive this advantage. We pack with very heavy cardboard to protect photos en route. The photo is a brownish color and has good contrast. It is a little light.
