This is a black, lightweight fiberglass Cairns Model 1010 Firefighter Helmet in outstanding condition. The helmet comes complete with ESS goggles (marked "CAIRNS 10029699 NFPA 1971, 2000 Edition"), removable yellow earflap, and fully adjustable headband that fits to accomodate a huge variety of sizes. I am not a gear guru so I will not pretend to know much more about it beyond that. The label inside reads "Model: C-TRD ... Mod. Weight: 61oz. ... Date of Mfg: 04/15/2005 ... NFPA 1971, 2000 Edition"I bought this helmet originally as new to take a class for Firefighter I/II Certification. The class is now over and I am leaving for the U.S. Military so I no longer have any use for my fire gear. T is some light wear on the top from the helmet being rested on the ground between drills but is in otherwise perfect condition. It has only been used for drills and has yet to even see a fire so I would assume it is safe for active use, but I would have a Cairns specialist check it out to be on the safe side.I only accept Money Order or Cashier's Check.
