MAUD LEWIS - Naive Artist - This is a very colourful and extremely charming summer painting.The trees are full of resplendant foliage,a bright blue sky and myriads of multi-coloured flowers surround the two oxen joined by the yoke.This pleasing vignette of country life is in good condition and is offered unframed.It is oil on board and measures 12 inches x 16 inches and is signed 'Maud Lewis' lower right.
