Exquisite workmanship. This Capo-di-Monte figurine has very fine detail showing the gnarly lines of his hands and feet. The fish in the basket appear squirming. The backside of this figure is just as well made as the front. There is so much to look at. Please view all the photos to appreciate the beauty of this art work. The mark is a crown over N, World of Art in blue under the glaze. Beneath is a #2 in gold. This mark is shown in the Book of Porcelain by Gustav Weiss as Naples. He sits 8 inches high. The base measures 9 by 8 inches. Where he has one hand up to light his pipe the match is missing. You have to look closely to see this. No other problems with this beauty.
