UP FOR SALE !What ?!!!? What a whimsical piece. Stamped Carlie Tart and dated 1999.Mr. Tart was a well known potter in North Carolina who loved throwing pots and sharing his craft. He passed away in 2006. He was also a renowned chef at the Hilton Head Hilton.The piece is signed by a John H........ I am guessing this was a "class" piece that was colored and fired by a student.It stands approx 7" and 7.25" at the widest.It is in very solid condition. No cracks or breaks. Just the tiniest of chips at the base, 5 pin head size "nicks".This just makes me smile, almost laugh really.Glad to answer any questions.Thank you for looking.
