RARE AMETHYST CARNIVAL GLASS ELECTRIC LAMP U. S. Glass Princess lamp. This could truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity! Lucky you to have found this exceptional piece of carnival glass and to be well on you'r way to owning it . Up for auction a rare antique amethyst, working , electric lamp, without shade. The total height of this lamp is 15 - 1/2 " Total height of Glass base is 6-1/2" Over all condition of lamp is very good, with no damage. According to the 2008 11th Edition Carnival Glass Encyclopedia, "This is one of the Best Carnival Glass Electric Lamps Ever Made." This is an extremely rare lamp with a book value of aprox. $950.00. We are willing to sell this lamp to you for an extremely low reserve. Electric lamps are not often found in Carnival glass, but this truly is one of the best. It is made of a heavy weight glass, with an interesting design of fans, blown out ovals, and egg dart out above the base. The color is a very dark purple with strong iridescence. On the underside w the is no iridescence , the glass is nearly black, indicating this is probably black amethyst. WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING PAYPAL FOR PAYMENT ON ALL OF OUR AUCTIONS!!!
