CARSTENS VASE DESIGN ANKARA I. WEST GERMANY POTTERY 60s Mid-century modern vase by manufactory Carstens Toennieshoff. Decor “ Ankara ” designed in 1964 by Scholtis. The effect of the classic timeless appeal of the Ankara series was achieved by wax cover technique and the use of a metal- containing glaze. Great objects for display as group of different sizes and shapes. Condition: excellent condition (no chips, cracks or hairlines). Object height: 9.1 inches / 23 cm. Marked: 1236-23, W.
