DESCRIPTION We are offering at auction an Authentic Older Carved, Scrimshawed Ivory Opium Snuff Bottle container with lid. This snuff bottle dates back to sometime during the early 1930's to 1950,s (PRE BAN IVORY). Most of the Snuff Bottles now found are reproductions and made of BONE or cast plastic. If you are lucky enough to find an Original Ivory Bottle many times they are cracked in half, badly damaged or missing the tops. We were lucky to acquire a small collection of these Nicer Old Pre Ban Ivory Snuff Bottle Containers from a large Estate Settlement.
