Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some fine knives for auction from a new collection acquisition from Knife Collection from Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The winning bidder pays $6.95 for USPS 1st Class Mail Shipping with Delivery Confirmation included in the Shipping price.This knife for auction is a 2007 issue Case manufactured Crandall Cutlery Co. Mint Set 6208 Half Whittler, 3 1/4" closed, with Case's "Crandall" Jigged Classic Green Bone (cattle bone) handles.Herbert Crandall was the son in law of W.R. Case, thus the Case Family Tree relationship. Crandall was married to Theresa Case and he founded Crandall Cutlery Company in Bradford, PA. in 1903. In 1911 Crandall Cutlery Company merged with W.R. Case & Sons and Herbert Crandall was the manager.There were only 250 of the Case Crandall Cutlery Company Mint Sets issued. The master blades of each knife in this Mint Set are embellished with Crandall Cut. Co. and the nickel silver bolsters include the intricate factory scrollwork. This Case Crandall 6208 Half Whittler is serial numbered on the front side of the master Clip blade with the official Case Long Tail C and #130.As you can see in the 4th photo, this Case manufactured Crandall 6208 Half Whittler is from a complete Case manufactured Crandall Cutlery Co.
