The item up for auction is a scarce WR Case & Sons Classic Whittler, with perfect Gold Stone handles..This is 1 0f 300 that were made in 1992...It has the Oval Shield and bolsters in nickle silver with brass pins and liners...It is the 73043 1/2 Case Classic pattern with polished carbon cutlery blades. On the main blade is etched WR Case & Sons very distinctly...The knife measures 3 3/4 inches closed. .It has WR Case & Sons Bradford PA 19 USA 92 stamped on the main blade tang,with Tested XX 73043 1/2 on the back...It,s value in the Case Classic 2001 Value Guide is $600.00...Much more now..It has the original mint Case Classic box with a COA..Insurance is always a good idea and a option to you..We cannot be liable if insurance is not requested..Thank you for your interest...Also,we are purchasing any size knife collections,large or small..Please feel free to call at anytime..Dave from Hancock Cutlery..
