PAPUA TRIBAL ART A truly amazing old tribal necklace, from Papua New Guinea. Two years ago I purchased, a very large original collection of old Papua New Guinea tribal necklaces. I have use most of the component parts to make Politically correct tribal necklaces. This one was too amazing to break up. Has 6 Cassowary toes, the people of PNG still catch the Cassowary for tribal ceremonies, in the millions of acre of deep jungle. The toes measure from 5.0 inches - 15 cm long to 3.0 inches - 8 cm long. The 4 wild boar tusks measure from 4.0 inches - 10 cm to 2.5 inches - 6.5 cm across. The large shell is adorned with Cassowary feathers. The necklace is pre 1950's. Complete with a custom made display stand. Weighs 1.0 kilos in the stand. Post from Indonesia takes 14 – 28 days.
