Cast Iron Dinner School Bell Mounted on Longhorn Steer For auction is this vintage cast iron dinner/school bell mounted on a longhorn steer's head. It has two mounting holes in the steers head to screw it to a wall. It appears to have been painted around at one time and has some paint on the steers head and horns. T is quite a bit of rust on this old bell but I bet it could be cleaned up with a little work. All the parts look to be original and it has a very loud ring to it. It measures about 12 inches from top to bottom and is about 8 1/2 inches at the widest point. The bell measures 6 inches in diameter. This bell would make a great addition to any western decor. (Because this item is being sold with a no reserve, the high bidder at the end of the auction will own this item!)
