This old French Bull Dog is or was a door stop. Someone made it into a bank. 2 honest knowledgable gentlemen told me it could have been a bank originally. Both of these men are not alive any more, but if you email me I will tell you their names! They were well known. This old dog was probably made by Hubley in the 1930's or so. (Both told me that too!) He is quite heavy at nearly 5 pounds and sits tall at 7 3/4". His "base" is 6 1/2" foot to back. HE IS DIRTY , and that's just how he looked when purchased in 1972. Someone cleaned a bit a spot on the right side of his stomach, but that wasn't me. I do think he could look better, but this is how he will stay for now. Questions, please email me.
