Castleton Ma Lin China Oval Serving Dish & Gravy Boat Set your table with this gorgeous set of Castleton China Oval Vegetable Bowl and Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate Ma Lin Pattern Made in USA Castleton is a subsidiary of the Shenango China Company of New Castle, PA. Castleton began in 1940 and eventually became the top of the line product of Shenango. Fine examples of the Castleton product are the Oval Vegetable Bowl and Gravy Boat. They are decorated with the elegant Ma Lin Pattern which was created by Ching Chih Yee. The subtle beauty of Ma Lin can be seen in the free flowing florals executed in bright colors of gold, green, blue, and red. The central designs are large flowers with smaller ones near the edge of the gold trim border. Very pretty! The Ma Lin Pattern was discontinued in 1958. Marks - Stamped in black on the bases is "Made in USA, Castleton China, Ma Lin by Ching Chih Yee". Condition - The pieces are in very good condition to excellent condition, no gold loss, chips or cracks. Dimensions - The Serving Bowl measures 11 1/8 x 8 1/4 x 2" . The Gravy Boat is 7 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 3 1/2". Shipping We pass shipping costs, including insurance costs straight through to our buyers. A packaging and handling (s&h) fee is included to cover the cost of materials and labor. Fees start at $.50 for envelopes and $2.00 for small boxes.
