Material: Vintage China Manufacturer: Buffalo China Condition: Vintage Excellent Markings: CBQ (Chicago, Burlington , and Quincy Railroad) This bowls is marked CBQ inside and the bottom markings are as follows: Buffalo China “Ivory Lamelle” and furnished by Albert Pick Co. Inc, Chicago. Albert Pick Company was a hotel supplier that was in business from 1885 until approximately 1930. They apparently furnished the china/dinnerware for CBQ during this time period. The bowl dimensions are as follows: Height: 2 ½” Diameter: 3 ½” The bowl has a handle on each side, accented with a swirl pattern. This could indicate that it was for soup. No chips/cracks/crazing. T is minor roughness on the bottom ring of the bowl. T are also some natural slubs in the china itself that probably occurred during the firing. This listing is for one bowl.
