I have for sale a souvenir from the 1933-34 Century of Progress Exposition that was held in Chicago, Illinois. I believe this is called a phot-o-coin. It is metal, 1 9/16 inch in diameter and in a high grade circulated condition with some spots on the obverse at the 34. The metal case has a hinge at the top with a clasp at the bottom. When opened it shows 20 black & white paper pictures of the exposition. The case obverse reads 1934 - A CENTURY - OF PROGRESS - CHICAGO and shows the expo symbol. The reverse shows an expo building in the center and reads FEDERAL BUILDING - HALL OF STATES. The pictures inside are attached at one end, some are slightly soiled and the end attached to the case reads CENTURY OF PROGRESS - 1934 - PHOT-O-COIN - FRANKLIN SPECIALTY CO. - CHICAGO, ILL. Please see my EBAY STORE at TE COLLECTABLES. (5,066) Insurance included in shipping fee.
