CH9 Antique Chinese Caramel Glazed Bowl Tang Dynasty 618-907AD CH9 Oriental Rug Review/Asian Trade is pleased to offer an ancient Chinese bowl, Tang Dynasty, with a beautiful allover caramel glaze. On the bowl's body is a kiln spur caused by abutting another object in the kiln. This shows up as a glaze void and protubrance and is not considered a flaw, being part of the manufacturing process. 5" high, 6" wide at shoulder, 3" wide at mouth. 3" wide at the base. The Tang Dynasty (June 18, 618 – June 1, 907) was an imperial dynasty of China preceded by the Sui Dynasty and followed by the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period. It was founded by the Li (?) family, who seized power during the decline and collapse of the Sui Empire.
