This is a neat cave formation of Chalcedony (variety of micro-crystalline Quartz--Silicon Dioxide). It is comprised of pale green stalactite fingers sprouting from a thin base plate of the same mineral. Several of the stalactite fingers are twisted and merged together. A very fascinating piece! This specimen measures 3.7 inches by 1.7 inches by 1 inch. It weighs just under 1 ounce, or 26 grams. It is from Jalagon, Maharashtra District , India . I combine shipping with other purchases.
