It is roughly 10 1/4" to the highest lip. is a beautiful matte lite blue with handpainted gold floral design and accent. full text on mark is "RECHEACHEE-DECORATION" "BY ROYAL LETTERS PATENT CHARLES BARLOW SMITHFIELD WORKS HANLEY STAFF." There are no chips, cracks, or fractures. the only negative would be the wear of gold on the handles, but that of course is from being used the last say 120 years. was only in business from 1880-1892. it appears that charles barlow rented part of a bottle works in stoke-on-trent, to use for decorating the pottery he purchased that was already fired but unglazed. I just noticed my picture looks lopsided, or the vase leans, but it doesn't just my crooked picture taking.anyway this is a great find and nice piece of history. I will be adding insurance to the shipping cost at end of sale
