This Charleton hand paintedglass bowl has a gold trimmed ruffled edge. It was made by Abels Wasserberg & Co. between the 1940' and 1950's. This company, AWCO, was a spinoff from Fenton which supplied AWCO with blanks to paint. I purchased it in the 1970's and it is in very good-excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. It is painted in gold, purple, green and white and decorated with lifelike flowers and leaves. It can be used as a serving dish or grace your etagerie. Enjoy spring year round with the lovely painted roses on the bowl.
