Black label, deep groove. Barnet and His Orchestra on 12 tracks. Titles of the tunes relate to Indians and the Southwest. Personnel include, leader, Barnet, alto, tenor, soprano sax; John Best, Pete Candoli, Maynard Ferguson, trumpets; Dick Nash, Si Zentner, Tommy Pedersen, Milt Bernhart, trombones: Willie Smith, Georgie Auld, reeds; Alvin Stoller, drums and more. This only a partial list of players. Some musicians play on only some tracks. Arranged by Billy May. I was unable to find information on 2 tracks. I don't believe thse tracks were reissued on the RCA Bluebird L.P.series.. Significant cover art by Jim Flora. Cover: VG+ A narrow band of scotch tape applied on 3 edges. This is neatly applied and appears to be for protection and not repair. This tape has slightly aged as has the back cover. The tape is minimally viable from the front cover. Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a few times. Fine condition. No surface noise. Audibly checked. 04.04.004
