This is an early, modernist Coffee Carafe, designed by Peter Schlumbohm of Germany, for his own CHEMEX. It stands 7 & 3/4" tall, measures 4 & 7/8" in diameter, and is complete with its wooden collar & beaded leather tie. It is in great condition, with some minor surface scratching and wear to the bead & cord, as evidence of typical use and indicative of its age. It is marked with an early Chemex 'Made in Germany' insignia. ** BONUS! INCLUDED with your purchase will be a packet of 20 Chemex Coffee Filters, to get you up and running!
