Excellent, finely crafted vintage Japanese copper teapot, with its embossed branches of cherry blossoms. It also features a creative stitched copper closure seam on the sides (see photos). Lid knob has stylized tsunami waves around top, and small ripple waves adorn the lid and around lower third of the sides. Has maker's mark on bottom. Tin plated on inside, and on underside of lid. About 7 inches tall to top of handle, base is about 5 inches in diameter (18 x 12.5 cm). Capacity is about 5 cups maximum (1.2 liters). Free insured Priority shipping within US.
