Cherry IL 1909 Mine Disaster RPPC Postcard #15 Rescuers This antique postcard is marked on the front with the following:#15 Top of wrecked air shaft showing group of officials and helmet men at the cherry mine w 400 men were entombed Nov. 13, '09Card is uncirculated but in used condition due to it's age. T is some surface wear and the corners are slightly bumped. T is some minor roughness around the edges most of which appears to be from the photography/ink process (see photos). Over all a card in nice condition for it's age.Back of card appears darker in the scan then it does in person.Please see our other auctions with cards from the same event.
