Soapstone Carving of " Lohan's Boulder " Measurement : 10 1/4" L x 13 1/2" H x 2 1/2" D Details : This soapstone boulder is carved with meticulous detail. A prunus tree with branches spreading out, detailed houses at the tip of the mountain, cranes and clouds. The front is also carved with the images of five Lohans, one holding a brush and two others holding a scrolled paper. Lohans are considered to be the most loyal disciples of Buddha who were sent out to spread the faith of Buddhism and also to help those who suffered and those who were needy, travelling to remote or foreign areas. The 5th picture showing the backside has a stone line, and is not a crack or separation. The black custom stand as pictured is included in the purchase of this carving.
