Pair of sculpted statues of Chinese women. These full-figured women may be odalisques or representations of regional types. Whatever the subject, they are very well executed with expressive, noble faces and detailed costumes.9-1/2" tall, 2-1/2" base.Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or damage of any kind. Carved from soap stone, probably in the 1930s. Please see our inventory for more stone and metal sculptures.
