This is a REPRINT of a TuxedoTobacco drug store sign advertisement produced in 1910 featuring New York Giants, Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher Christy Mathewson . About This Poster In 1994 reprints of the original sign were created for the Mathewson family. A member of the family in now making a limited number of prints available for sale. The poster is approximately 26 x 15 ¼ inches on thick cardstock paper. This is a beautiful print with vibrant, vintage colors suitable for framing. About the Original Sign This is one in a series of three similarly designed, and very rare advertisements produced by Tuxedo Tobacco around 1910 featuring Christy Mathewson, Walter Johnson and John McGraw. This sign shows a large bust of Christy Mathewson in his prime along with his printed signature and a charming era sales pitch: “Tuxedo gets me in a natural pleasant way.
