A very nice group of four different Civil War Confederate Bond Interest receipts. These receipts are in almost unused condition. Some are not cut perfectly square & a few have creases from when they were printed. When a person bought a bond to support the war effert, They would get this large bond with the Interest bearing receipts attached to the bottom or side. Every six months a receipt would be removed from the bond & redeemed for the amount specified. Approx. size: small 2 1/4" long, the two larger are approx. 3" long. The two larger have the signature of Robert Tyler, the son of the 10th President of the U.S.A. John Tyler. These were never turned in. The receipts are for one $100, one $500 & two $1000 bonds. is a chance to get some original Confederate Civil war artifacts at a very low cost. A nice original C.W. Bullet.
