This is a gorgeous Period Gown we are offering for auction! It has 'CW' for Civil War written on the Western Costume Company label. The gown is done in a lovely light gold material I believe is a silk. The bodice has a low sweetheart neckline with a row of ivory and gold thread lace around the neckline. There is a grouping of small bell shaped cotton flowers and thin white ribbon at the center bust. The neckline edge, 3 center seams and the princess seams all have piping over them. The piping is also on the seams in the back. The sleeves are very puffy with a small band around the edge. The sleeves are lined in a soft sheer chiffon.
