Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery Celtic Harvest Tri Footed Tazza Comport Cake Stand Move mouse over images to see enlarged version Description For sale is a beautiful comport produced by Newport Pottery in a range designed by the world famous Clarice Cliff in the late 1930's. It comes from the a highly popular Celtic Harvest range produced in typical bright vibrant post Art Deco fashion. It shows hand painted selection of fruits and flowers on a moulded wheatsheaf body. The tri footed stand is manufactured in silver plated epns. Condition Report The item is in a very good display condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There is a small amount of crazing located to the centre of the plate but this can only be detected on the closest of inspection and it does not affect the usage or display. There is a little tarnishing to the silver plate. Please see the attached photographs for confirmation of condition. Size & Weight Size - 12.5cm (just under 5 inches) in height and 22cm (8.75 inches) in diameter. Weight - 570g Markings Marked to the base with Newport Pottery markings (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).
