CLASSIC ZIA OLLA, CIRCA 1880 WITH TWO BIRDS AND FLOWERS. This old Zia pot, 7 3/4” in diameter and 5 3/4” in height retains a nice design with two birds and floral elements. The shape is early and the base is deeply concave with an old access number. The rims reveals some wear, roughness and an old outside chip. No cracks, lines or repairs. This Olla would make a great addition to an early 1880 era collection. Purchased several years ago from a regular Santa Fe August show dealer. Small reserve based on its purchase price.
