Hello and welcome! Tuscany Books offers: One large original copper engraving from the first edition of: Montfaucon, Bernard de L' Antiquite expliquee et representee en figures. Paris: De Laulne et al, 1719-24 Please check out our other listings offered on ebay. We try to list new items every day and will gladly give a shipping discount on multiple purchases. This original copper engraving is from the monumental work on Classical Antiquity by Bernard de Montfaucon (1655-1741). Size of the Print: ca. 17" x 11" (435 mm x 280 mm) Condition: On hand-made paper in excellent condition. Slight soiling or occasional spotting, mainly in the margins; some original paper flaws or impurities, some plate dirt, minor edge flaws, etc. The gutter edge shows traces of having been bound into a book. We will mention flaws that cannot be seen on the photograph. Please note: We never restore or treat our prints with chemicals to enhance their appearance. Tfore, you can be confident when you bid on this engraving that it will not deteriorate beyond the normal aging process. . Pictured: The engraving for sale.
