This vintage doll is very clever, colorful, and made by a Navajo woman in her likeness. The Navajo doll is dressed in the traditional outfit of the older Navajo women - a soft shirt, cotton skirt, an cozy blanket wrapped round her. She has beaded earrings and a beaded necklace. The facial features are drawn on her fabric face which is framed by wool hair tied into the traditional bun of the Navajo people. Tucked into her blanket - shawl, is a little baby who has a sweet little face. Mother and baby are riding a stuffed fabric horse. The horse stands 6" tall and the Navajo woman is 8" from the ground to the top of her head. The length of the horse measures 7". This is a delightful piece of authentic Navajo folk art and will make everyone who looks at her smile.
