Canadian National 8575 RS-10 Proto 1000 HO RARE 126 of150. This is a very rare special limited run of the Canadian prototype RS-10. Only 150 of this version were made according to the box. The type was licensed by Alco to the Canadian Montreal Locomotive Works. Using largely American designs, the RS-10 was a 1,600 horsepower (1,200 kW) road switcher built for the Canadian market in Canada. The power plant was essentially an ALCO RS-3 in a redesigned carbody. The type retained the RS-3's 12-cylinder Alco 244 engine. The Canadian based MLW built 128 of these locomotives before the model was replaced by the MLW RS-18. The previous owner added ditch lights as well as extended vision windows and the model is a good runner and comes with original box. Please allow $9 for insured Fedex Ground Delivery.
