From the 1920s and 30s, this is a beautiful piece of Coca-Cola history; a five gallon wooden syrup keg that held Coca-Cola syrup, which was sent to local soda fountains to make Coca-Cola with. This measures 17" tall by 11" round. With metal bands. These kegs originally held beer. The Coca-Cola company purchased them and painted them red and added a paper label to the tops along with a spigot at the top for dispensing the syrup. Notice ingredients reads "Cocaine removed."Condition: Most of these kegs are found with the paper labels almost gone. This is in great condition with most of the paper label intact as shown in my photos. There is something rattling around inside; possibly a cork for the top spigot hole.Suggest going to your local glass company and having a round glass top cut to be placed on top of this keg, to keep the label from being damaged. This will be mailed in a well padded box to ensure safe delivery. I do combine shipping.SHIPPING WITHIN THE USA ONLY.Please check out my other vintage Coca-Cola items that I've listed. And feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding. Thanks and good luck bidding!
