Cochise County Arizona Territory Signed Justice Court Lawsuit Document. This document is for costs and disbursements, and between H.A. Brown vs. James McCusker and lists Justice Fees at $8.25, Constable Fees at $5.40, Dr. F.E, Williams, 1 day and 1 mile $1.65, and Dr. G.F. Hunt, 1 day and 1 mile at $1.65, for a total of $16.95. The court is for the Territory of Arizona, County of Cochise, and is dated November 11, 1911. It measures 9 x 13 1/2 inches. A one page document in very good condition, expected yellowing from age, has been stored in a clear plastic top loader for years. Signed in black fountain pen ink by S.K. Williams and M.C. Hugh, and noted copy in ink. The typewriting is slightly faded. It is folded into fourths, the document stapled to an outer blue colored paper (yellowed in areas) that has recorded info on one panel, and court costs on another. Nice document, and a nice piece of history. This item is from a family collection that they collected/bought as early as the 1970's, that's when they had a brick n mortar, with too many items to grade, appraise or otherwise, and has been in storage for 20+ years, so we are just trying to clear things out.
