King Henry VIII Silver Groat A really superb portrait of Henry VIII on this coin, they don't come much better than this. The bust shows Henry as a relatively young man aged about 35 Small hole at about the 12 o'clock position has been neatly plugged (see scans) indicating that this Groat had been worn as a pendant probably as early as in the Tudor period judging by the excellent condition of the coin.
