I love this lot! 2 Coins of Julius Caesar. One is authentic, and I guarantee that for life. Had a long discussion about this coin years ago on expert forums and I have absolutely no doubt this is genuine. The other I bought from Spain as it is just the most comical ancient fouree I have ever seen! I say this because of the cupid on Venus's shoulder. In one of my photos I highlighted the crude stick figure and openly wonder, if the penalty was death for making these or holding these even, even if the maker passed it once at the frontier of the empire maybe, someone had to notice this eventually! Both about exactly the same weight, 3 grams. Again, look at the wildwinds examples of this coin and then compare the fouree cupid! That ancient artist did not even really try very hard.
