This lot includes letters and cards from Jeanette Harvey to Sam. Some of the cards have original art by JET. Jeanette was incarcerated at Gatesville Prison for the murder of her husband. She was corresponding with Sam who was sending her money to help with the Prison expenses. Sam would later commit suicide. These letters were in binders with all of the art that I have listed. I purchased them in lot form at his estate auction. I have them all listed. It is a great chance to get a collection of a single artists works as well as the correspondence to her supporter.
