This auction is for : Bank of Upper Canada one penny token - Co258 ; Br 719; PC-6C1; Legend - Bank of Upper Canada and date - 1854, St George Slaying the Dragon, on one side; Legend - Bank Token - One Penny, Anchor, Sword, Rope, Battle axe, Cornucopias, Union Jack and Crown on the other! Dr. Courteau wrote : ( Group. From No. 258 to No. 274 inclusive.) Obv: The lower part of drapery above man's right hand is lacking. The bridle to horse shows only the right rein. The stand of figure 4 left end is opposite space between teeth around border. 1854. - Rev: Defective dots for rope between sword and feather. Perfect ring to anchor.
