COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY Alma Mater Statue 1st Day Cover Low Memorial Library Stamp.... On March 25, 2004, the USPS issued an imprinted postcard with the imprint or "stamp" commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the Columbia University - first chartered by the Church of England in 1754 as King's College. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover , in this case a postcard with the imprint or "stamp," depicting Low Memorial Library , cancelled from the city of issue (New York, NY) the first day of issue captioned above. The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts 'Alma Mater Statue' outside the Library. The picture is printed on silk and framed in a gold-embossed border. Double matted in blue & white , it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
