Offered is an increasingly rare item for the specialist trilobite collector; a 1cm, sharply preserved, complete, prone example of the Upper Cambrian Olenellid balcoracania dailyi (Pocock 1970), from the Emu Bay Formation of the Type Area at Emu Bay, Australia.This attractive example shows all thoracic and macropleural spines to be intact and both librigena with genal spines too; for added interest there is an additional displaced and inverted librigene too.Further preparation is possible and unusually, this example has the tiny multisegmented opisthothorax in-situ. Great price for a finely preserved and complete example of this rare and localised trilobite...........one for the advanced collector!
